Pretty awe-inspiring demonstrative piece of sampling by one of your neighborhood Youtube users. Ableton is crazy/amazing at making sampling so so so easy… well, once you’ve high-jumped the learning curve and are well familiarized with it. BUT! This Youtube vid illustrates spot-on how it’s possible to demarcate and cut a musical progression from a completely different genre as, say, the country-folksy ballad intro from Dim All the Lights by Disco Queen Donna Summer, and align it into a punchy dance piece as Justice’s B.E.A.T. with a very euphoria-enhancing outcome.
